FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 26, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Monte Morris (at SA – $5,700): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. I love Morris and still can’t believe his ceiling isn’t a bit higher. He gets good minutes and just finds a way to make an impact off the bench. It helps with all the injuries to the Nuggets right now. The Spurs have looked better, but I don’t trust their overall defense. I’m going to trust Morris to keep delivering. Diagnosis: Love his game and the matchup for him on Wednesday.
Justin Holiday (vs MIN – $5,600): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Holiday has settled into a nice salary and as a reliable option. I continue to like his overall game and the matchup is a good one for him on Wednesday. He should be able to do a bit of everything to at least get you value. And his ceiling is high if he’s shooting well. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup and a good ceiling. But I mainly like him for the reliability.
Dwyane Wade (vs TOR – $5,100): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Wade has been inconsistent for most of this season and the matchup isn’t great with Toronto’s overall defense, but this is also a game where Wade raises his level. He had 50 fantasy points against the Raptors on Nov. 25. He just has a habit of showing up for these big games. And he’s probably upset that he wasn’t playing on Christmas this season. Diagnosis: A slight risk, but I trust him against tough opponents.
