High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jaren Jackson Jr (vs CLE – $6,600): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Triple J has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. And his minutes were up against the Lakers. And he actually closed the game. All good signs heading into this matchup. Another good sign is that he’s going up against the Cavaliers. He should have no issue getting points and rebounds in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, great matchup.

Domantas Sabonis (at ATL – $6,600): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. I still wish Sabonis would get more minutes, but he continues to deliver in limited minutes and we know he has a high ceiling. You can always pivot to Thaddeus Young in this position as he’s a cheaper option who does get more minutes. This is mainly about the matchup as both guys should have no issue getting it done against a weak Hawks squad. Diagnosis: Inconsistent due to minutes, but a good ceiling and great matchup.

Markieff Morris (at DET – $4,900): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. After going with two high salary value guys, I’ll throw everyone a most cost-effective option. I love Morris. This is his matchup. He averaged 37.8 fantasy points in three games against the Pistons last season. He’s been good more often than not coming off the bench for the Wizards and is at a good salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable at this salary, proven matchup, and a high ceiling.
