Tommy Maddox Division

25. Nick Mullens (LW: 28)

Mullens has done a nice job with the 49ers. The third-string undrafted quarterback out of Southern Miss has kept San Francisco in most games, and has even won three of them. Mullens isn’t a starting quarterback, but he’s a quality backup who got valuable playing time.

24. Case Keenum (LW: 23)

Keenum hasn’t been the answer in Denver. The Broncos are going to suffer through consecutive losing seasons since 1971-72, and the quarterback shoulders a good bit of blame.

23. Marcus Mariota (LW: 22)

Is Mariota ever going to have a convincing game? The Titans continue to win in spite of him, which is a good indicator that Mike Vrabel was the right hire. However, it’s a bad bit of news in the long term, because it’s almost impossible to win big in 2018 with someone playing like Mariota has.

22. Derek Carr (LW: 24)

Carr has avoided throwing an interception in recent weeks, although much of that is due to an increased sack rate and short throws. The Raiders will try to pull a huge upset this weekend in Kansas City, a place that has been a house of horrors for Carr in the past.

21. Eli Manning (LW: 21)

Manning is going to be the Giants starter in 2019, so the fine folks in Gotham will get another look at a player good enough to compete with. The downside is that New York won’t win big with an aging Manning who is clearly on the final stage of his career.
