High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (vs POR – $8,900): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. Curry was down to 26.25 fantasy points against the Lakers on Christmas. I’d be more concerned if he wasn’t Steph Curry and didn’t typically own the Blazers. The Warriors are definitely going through things right now, but so are the Blazers. I trust the Warriors to fix things since they have the pedigree compared to the Blazers. Curry will have a bounce back performance in this one. He’s too good of a player to struggle in the same manner. Diagnosis: Reliable, typically his matchup and a good ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (at HOU – $8,400): Needs 38.6 fantasy points. Kyrie has a big game on Christmas, coming up with 62 fantasy points. You can always count on Kyrie to deliver in these big games. This is a big game if James Harden plays. But if Harden is out, this is a tough game to call because there is a potential letdown factor for the Celtics and also a potential blowout factor if they come out strong. I’ll trust Kyrie to at least hit value, but those are some things to keep in mind. Diagnosis: Reliable. High ceiling if Harden ends up playing.

De’Aaron Fox (vs LAL – $8,000): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. Fox continues to play great and had 41.5 fantasy points against the Clippers on Wednesday. Rondo and LeBron are scared of him, which should make his job a bit easier on Thursday. West teams are better at home and even though this is a back-to-back, the Lakers might have a big come down after the win against the Warriors and not having LeBron or Rondo in the lineup. Diagnosis: Love Fox on Thursday. He should produce in a big way.
