High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Noah Vonleh (at MIL – $6,100): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. You pretty much know what you’re getting from Vonleh. He has a good ceiling and he’s going to get plenty of minutes. He’s usually good with points and rebounds. He had 38 fantasy points in 33 minutes against the Bucks on Christmas. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling. Vonleh is one Knick you can usually count on.

Kevin Knox (at MIL – $6,000): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. Knox has been solid during this stretch. I always worry about rookies because they can bottom out at any moment, but Knox is playing well and I like his overall game. He’s proven he can play well against the Bucks, which is the good news. He should do enough with his scoring and rebounding to at least be at value. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and fairly reliable, but I’m always wary of rookies.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at GS – $5,100): Needs 22 fantasy points. Aminu had 31.4 fantasy points against the Jazz on Christmas. The minutes are always there for him and he can do a bit of everything. He has a high ceiling, but he can also bottom out at a moments notice because he’s not reliable in a single category. The minutes won’t be an issue for him against the Warriors. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a high ceiling.
