High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (at PHO – $10,900): Needs 50.3 fantasy points. It’s Russell Westbrook against the Suns. And the better news is that the Suns are playing well and typically play OKC tough at home. Which means there’s less risk of a blowout and more chance that Westbrook plays his typical minutes. Numbers won’t be an issue for him in this game and I would expect a triple-double out of him. Diagnosis: High ceiling and great matchup. He’ll deliver big.

Kemba Walker (vs BKN – $9,100): Needs 42 fantasy points. It’s a night of rematches. Kemba had 55 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 26. I liked him in that game and I like him in this one, especially with the Hornets returning home. His salary has jumped, but he’s been great for most of this season and points should not be an issue. Expect his assist numbers to go up a bit. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and fairly reliable.

Spencer Dinwiddie (at CHA – $7,300): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. Dinwiddie had 60.5 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 26. He’s been strong with LeVert out of the lineup and with Russell struggling, Dinwiddie has been in charge of the offense for the most part. The matchup remains good as the Hornets still don’t offer much defensively. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
