High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Justise Winslow (vs CLE – $5,800): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Winslow had 32.5 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 26. I continue to love his game in the starting lineup because he is the point guard at the moment. More importantly, he gets the Cavaliers. He’s shooting well and making plays for others. Expect his rebounding numbers to tick back up to go along with his rebounds and assists. Diagnosis: Love him on Friday due to the matchup and his role.

Fred VanVleet (at ORL – $5,600): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. VanVleet’s numbers have been down a bit in recent games, but I’m not too concerned. Lowry is going to be out on Friday, which means VanVleet will draw the start. And he gets the Magic. This is a great matchup for him and he’s shown a high ceiling as the starter. Diagnosis: A tad inconsistent, but good matchup, good role, and a good ceiling.

Monte Morris (vs SA – $4,700): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. Morris continues to put up consistent numbers. He had 27.5 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 26. At this point, you should just expect at least 25 fantasy points from him. And his ceiling is higher than that. The Nuggets remain shorthanded and I don’t know what his value will be once they get healthy. So take advantage of him while you can. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Quick Hits

Lonzo Ball ($5,900): Circumstances are still good. But it’s a back-to-back and the matchup is tough.
