High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Devin Booker (vs OKC – $8,500): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. Booker had 61.75 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 26. The Suns are back at home and should have some extra energy. Booker played well on the road trip and the Suns are playing well as a team. He typically performs well against the Thunder and the Thunder defense has regressed a bit. He should get his points and assists in this one. Diagnosis: High ceiling and red hot.

Derrick Rose (vs ATL – $7,100): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. Rose had 43.25 fantasy points in his return to the lineup on Dec. 26. It was the Bulls, so keep that in mind. But now he gets the Hawks. A matchup that is just as easy for him. Rose has been fantastic this season and continues to deliver with the role he’s in. The matchup is good and he remains at a reasonable salary given his usual production. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, good ceiling.

Zach LaVine (at WAS – $6,500): Needs 29.8 fantasy points. LaVine had 33.75 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Timberwolves on Dec. 26. He’s expected to rejoin the starting lineup on Friday, which would be good news for his value. And it’s the Wizards, which is good news for everyone’s value right now. The points should be there without an issue and he’ll chip in in other areas. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a very good matchup. Salary helps given what should be expected from him.
