High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs DET – $5,400): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. Bojan’s value doesn’t hinge on Oladipo’s status, but if Oladipo ends up missing this game, it will help his value. Even if Oladipo plays, Bojan has turned into a reliable option and minutes are rarely an issue for him. This isn’t typically his matchup, which does have me a little concerned. Diagnosis: Reliable if Oladipo is out. Good ceiling, but inconsistent if Oladipo plays.

J.J. Barea (at NO – $5,100): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. Barea had 36.7 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 26. If he’s going to get 29 minutes again, he’s an easy bet to go over value. The Pelicans can’t defend the perimeter and their second unit is awful. Barea should have no problem picking them apart once again. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup. Lack of minutes is the only concern.

Joe Harris (at CHA – $4,900): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. I’ve been banging the Harris drum for a while. And he was up to 41 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 26. The shots are always there for him and he’s reliable with his scoring. He helps his value by picking up numbers in other categories. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling if his shot is really on point.
