High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Kemba Walker (vs BKN – $9,800): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Kemba had 53.7 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 26. It’s the same matchup, and while the Nets will adjust, sometimes there’s not a lot you can do against great scorers. And When Kemba is rolling, he’s tough to stop. Being at home, he’ll feel more comfortable. He should have no problem getting his bucks while chipping in elsewhere. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and matchup.

Derrick Rose (vs ATL – $7,500): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. Rose was back in the lineup against the Bulls and he came up with 43.6 fantasy points. He’s been excellent this season and there’s no reason to doubt him against this matchup. The scoring and assists will be there. The Hawks don’t offer much defense and every West team is unbeatable at home. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling and a great matchup

Spencer Dinwiddie (at CHA – $7,400): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. Dinwiddie had 54.9 fantasy points in the game against the Hornets on Dec. 26. He’s been strong with LeVert out of the lineup and the Hornets remain a good matchup. I do worry that Russell starts to figure it out, but Dinwiddie is at a good salary given his typical production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
