High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

DeMar DeRozan (at DEN – $8,800): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. DeRozan has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games, including a 52.9 fantasy point effort against the Nuggets on Dec. 26. When the minutes are there, the production is there. And the minutes should be there in this game because I suspect it’ll be a close contest. DeRozan will get his points while chipping in in other areas. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Luka Doncic (at NO – $8,500): Needs 36 fantasy points. Doncic is listed as probable, so I’m going to assume that he’ll play. He had 48.8 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 26. Like with Barea, it’s the same matchup and the Pelicans have the same problems. Doncic should be able to carve up the Pelicans defense on Friday. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a high ceiling.

Zach LaVine (at WAS – $7,600): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LaVine had 32.2 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Timberwolves on Dec. 26. He’s expected to be back in the starting lineup on Friday and now he gets the Wizards. They haven’t been able to stop anyone all season. LaVine should get plenty of points in this one. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup.
