Flex Option: Peyton Barber $5,500

Peyton Barber has been pretty good over the last few weeks since really taking over the starting job. The Buccaneers have been relying too much on Jameis Winston in previous games, especially in the red zone.

This has turned into turnovers on too many possessions. That takes away opportunities for Barber to score, and that would allow him to get more points.

In this matchup, the Bucs plan on playing Ryan Griffin. When their third-string quarterback comes in, the team will rely on Peyton Barber to carry the offense. They won’t take chances with Griffin, who is in his fifth season with the Bucs but doesn’t have a passing yard.

This could be a very interesting matchup. We will get to that later.

Backup Flex Option: Kenny Golladay $6,700

Finding receivers worth starting that are affordable isn’t the easiest when you get this deep. There are a lot of players dealing with injuries, and Golladay is no different.

However, with the Lions in the midst of a lost season, Kenny Golladay has been very good and looks poised to play in the season finale.

As we saw last week, the Packers are still playing in shootouts despite having the 11th ranked defense. That could mean a huge game for Kenny Golladay. He can be one of the best players on your team, but there is downside.

That’s why he is where he is. He’s a major risk, but just about everyone is in Week 17.
