Defense Option: Atlanta Falcons $3,300

Alright, hear me out on this one. This might seem a little out there, since the Atlanta Falcons defense has been terrible this season, but the Bucs are playing Ryan Griffin for part of the game, and Jameis Winston for the other part of the game. The Bucs offense is a turnover machine.

Then, there’s the fact that Deion Jones has been insane since he returned from injury, and the Falcons defense has been just as good. In the last two weeks, the defense scored 20 and 14 fantasy points respectively.

Those are some of the best point outputs you can get from a defense, and it’s coming from one of the bottom teams in terms of price.

The Bucs make this a fairly easy decision. Griffin and Winston will turn the ball over, and they could even throw a pick-six.

Backup Defense Option: New Orleans Saints $4,500

If you want a defense that’s more traditionally good, and has proven itself this season, look no further than the New Orleans Saints. They are facing the Panthers and Ryan Allen, who is starting for the first time in his short career.

The Panthers offense is Christian McCaffrey and nothing else. The Saint will probably put seven players in the box, and let Allen make enough mistakes until he turns the ball over.
