High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jordan Clarkson (at ATL – $6,100): Needs 28 fantasy points. Clarkson had 30.75 fantasy points against the Heat on Friday. The matchup is much easier for him on Saturday. Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Hawks went to overtime. And they are the Hawks. Clarkson rarely lacks for minutes and shots. This feels like a big game for him on Saturday. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable, high ceiling, and good matchup.

Monte Morris (at PHO – $4,600): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Morris continues his strong play for the Nuggets. Now he gets the Suns and he could be in the starting lineup as the Nuggets are racking up injuries right now. Even if he’s coming off the bench, he remains at a good salary given his typical production and minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. If Murray is out, he should be a steal. Plus, Suns.

Austin Rivers (at NO – $3,800): Needs 17.4 fantasy points. Rivers continues to put up solid numbers for the Rockets. The big thing for him is that he gets plenty of minutes, a decent number of shots and is at a good salary. The better news for him is that he gets to play the Pelicans. They are on a back-to-back and don’t offer much of anything on the defensive end. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary and a good matchup.
