DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 29, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jeremy Lamb (at WAS – $6,100): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. Lamb has been a bit inconsistent in recent games, but he’s shown a high ceiling throughout the season and minutes are not an issue for him right now. This is largely about the matchup. The Wizards should be taken advantage of because they can’t seem to do anything right. Lamb will get decent enough numbers to at least get you value and I suspect he’ll be even better in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Joe Ingles (vs NY – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Ingles was down to 18.75 fantasy points against the Sixers on Dec. 27. I’m not too concerned because he gets the Knicks on Saturday. And everyone does well against the Knicks. The good news is that Ingles salary is also way down. This should be an easy bounce-back game for Ingles as he’ll do a bit of everything and then some. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, and Knicks.
Al-Farouq Aminu (vs GS – $4,600): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Aminu had 26 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 27 and has been over 24 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s inconsistent, but the minutes are always there for him and he typically finds a way to make an impact in these big games. He’s not reliable in a single category but does enough overall to at least get value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
