Players costing over $6,667

Kemba Walker (at WAS – $9,900): Needs 42 fantasy points. Kemba had 45.3 fantasy points against the Nets on Friday. It’s a back-to-back for both teams, but the Hornets are on the road, which is a bit concerning. What is not concerning is the matchup. The Wizards are bad. Maybe the worst team in the league, which, I don’t even know how given their talent. Kemba should slice them up and get plenty of points and assists in this one. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a very good matchup.

Steph Curry (at POR – $9,800): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Curry had 50.5 fantasy points against the Blazers on Dec. 27. He typically plays well against the Blazers and he’s always a threat to have a big game. He should be in for another solid outing in this game. The Warriors are definitely going through some things, but they remain the Warriors. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and a high ceiling.

Mike Conley (vs BOS – $8,600): Needs 36.5 fantasy points. Conley has been consistent during this recent stretch. He’s shown a high ceiling and the assists are rarely an issue for him, but he’s struggled a bit with his shot right now. The Celtics are a relatively tough matchup, but I’m not enamored with the point guards on Saturday. And if nothing else, Conley should at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
