High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Joe Ingles (vs NY – $6,300): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. Ingles was down to 19.7 fantasy points against the Sixers on Dec. 27, but I’m not concerned because of who he gets to play on Saturday. Ingles had been playing well prior to the Sixers game and he gets the Knicks next. This should be an easy bounce back game for him where he does a bit of everything and comes up with solid scoring numbers. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back with a good performance. Reliable if nothing else.

Trevor Ariza (vs CHA – $6,100): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. Ariza was down to 18.1 fantasy points against the Bulls on Friday. It’s a little concerning, but Ariza continues to get plenty of minutes and I’m willing to chalk up the game against the Bulls to an off night and not the start of anything bigger. The Hornets are a good matchup and the Wizards are still at home, which should help a bit on the back-to-back. Trust him to bounce back. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and typically reliable.

Jeff Green (vs CHA – $4,400): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. Green was up to 24.4 fantasy points against the Bulls on Friday. Production is not an issue for Green, it’s a matter of minutes. If his minutes were more guaranteed, I would trust him a lot more, especially at this salary. The matchup is good and Green does a bit of everything when he’s able to get on the court. Trust that the minutes will be there for him on Saturday. Diagnosis: High ceiling but inconsistent due to minutes.
