FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 29, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Noah Vonleh (at UTA – $6,100): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Vonleh continues to climb and was up to 38.6 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 27. Minutes are never an issue for him and he can do a bit of everything. The Jazz are a tough matchup, but there’s no denying the way he’s playing right now. Given his minutes, I’m going to trust him in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a good ceiling.
Marcus Morris (at MEM – $6,000): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Morris has been over 33 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s been good more often than not in the starting lineup, with only blowouts hurting his value. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup, but also a matchup where Morris will thrive because he loves these kind of battles. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and a matchup where it feels like he’ll deliver in a big way.
Al-Farouq Aminu (vs GS – $5,200): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. Aminu had 23.9 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 27. He’s been a reliable option as of late and minutes are rarely an issue for him. He can do a bit of everything when he’s on his game and I like this matchup for him because the Warriors force everyone to be on their game. If nothing else, he should be a reliable option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
