The Premier League kicks off the second half of its season on Saturday with Leicester hosting Cardiff at King Power Stadium. The Foxes are four points behind Manchester United as they battle for sixth place in the table. Cardiff were pegged for relegation at the beginning of the season but are three points above the drop with half the season to go.

Leicester shocked Manchester City 2-1, with Ricardo Pereira scoring the late winner. The Foxes win changed the landscape at the top of the table but also gave the club their second straight win and 10 points in their last six games. Leicester will look for Jamie Vardy to lead them to their third straight win on Saturday against Cardiff. Vardy leads the club with six goals this season and set up the Foxes first goal against City.

After losing 5-1 to Manchester United last weekend, Cardiff returned on Boxing Day and settled for a scoreless draw against Crystal Palace. The Bluebirds have picked up seven points in their last six games. While that total is not overly impressively, it is more points than they were able to pick up in their first 13 games of the season. The biggest issue for Cardiff this season has been keeping the ball out of their own net. The Bluebirds have conceded 38 goals this season and will need to improve that figure in the second half if they are going to avoid relegation.
