Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (at DAL – $11,100): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. Westbrook had 67 fantasy points against the Suns on Dec. 28. Paul George should be back in the lineup, which will limit Westbrook’s scoring, but the assist and rebound numbers should still be there. You can usually count on Westbrook to at least get you value. And his ceiling is high with the threat of the triple-double. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling. Mavericks are good at home.

De’Aaron Fox (at LAL – $8,400): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. Fox has been fantastic during this recent stretch, going over 40 fantasy points in his last five games. And he typically plays well against the Lakers. He had 47.75 fantasy points against them on Dec. 27. He should be in for another big game on Sunday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Lonzo Ball (vs SAC – $6,700): Needs 31 fantasy points. Ball had 57.75 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 27. He was down against the Clippers, but it was a back-to-back. The circumstances are good once again with the injuries to the Lakers. And he plays well against the Kings, despite labels that he’s afraid of Fox. He should do enough to get value but his ceiling is even higher due to the circumstances. Diagnosis: Circumstances are great again. Reliable at this salary with a very high ceiling.
