High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bogdan Bogdanovic (at LAL – $6,100): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Bogdanovic had 28.9 fantasy points against the Lakers on Dec. 27. And he hit the game-winner, which means he should have had more fantasy points. Game-winners really should count for like 10 fantasy points. He’s been a bit inconsistent during this recent stretch, but the minutes are typically there and he can do a bit of everything. The matchup remains good with the Lakers still being banged up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

JJ Redick (at POR – $5,200): Needs 22 fantasy points. Redick has found his shooting stroke in recent contests, which has meant good things for his value. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in two of his last three games. The Blazers are on a back-to-back, which should help Redick’s value on Sunday. And if Embiid is out, Redick will have more opportunities to contribute on offense. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and seemingly reliable at the moment.

Dwyane Wade (vs MIN – $5,100): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Wade was up to 28.2 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Dec.28. He’s been inconsistent throughout the season, but he’s at a good salary and minutes aren’t typically an issue for him. And the Timberwolves are a mess right now. Wade has struggled with his shooting, but he finds ways to contribute, which helps his overall value. Diagnosis: Reliable and a good ceiling because he can turn it on at any moment.
