High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Pascal Siakam (vs CHI – $6,600): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Siakam was down to 9.8 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 28. Trust him to bounce back given the opponent on Sunday. He’s been very good this season and he never lacks for minutes or chances. I just can’t imagine the Bulls holding him to four points and four rebounds given how good he’s been throughout the season. Diagnosis: Maybe a slight risk based on recent play. But a great matchup.

Jerami Grant (at DAL – $5,700): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. Grant has been over 27 fantasy points in five straight and over 30 fantasy points in three of those five games. Minutes are never an issue and he impacts the game in a big way with his defense while also contribute with rebounds and scoring. He’s turning into a reliable option with a good ceiling based on minutes and the role he plays. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dwight Powell (vs OKC – $3,800): Needs 16.4 fantasy points. This is largely due to circumstances. If DeAndre Jordan doesn’t end up playing, Powell should see more minutes and opportunities. But if Jordan does play, I’m not sure Powell will be able to do enough to get you value, even at the low salary. You can look towards Bam Adebayo at this position if Jordan ends up playing and you don’t want to roll the dice with Powell. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Jordan doesn’t play.
