2019 NFL mock draft: Cardinals land Nick Bosa
Jeffery Simmons, DT, Mississippi State
More defensive help for a team that couldn’t get off the field in 2018. The Raiders simply have to stock up on talent across the board.
KelvIn Harmon, WR, North Carolina State
Baltimore desperately needs to add some talent to the outside. Hayden Hurst and Mark Andrews are youngsters at tight end, but the receivers don’t bring much to the table.
Dalton Risner, OT, Kansas State
Deshaun Watson was sacked 60 times this season, becoming the first quarterback since Jon Kitna to have that fun foisted upon him.
Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
After Rob Gronkowski is either released or he retires, Fant can become the next tight end for Tom Brady and Co.
Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa State
Oakland finally replaces Amari Cooper (or at least in theory) with Butler. Again, Oakland simply needs talent.
Byron Murphy, CB, Washington
The Chiefs should spend every single one of their picks on the defensive side of the ball. Kansas City landing Murphy would be a boon.
Oshane Ximines, EDGE, Old Dominion
Once Dante Fowler Jr. leaves, Ximines can come in and provide some punch off the edge. It’s a great gift for Wade Phillips.
Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama
If Thompson falls this far, it would be an easy decision for the Packers. Ironically, he would be replacing another former Alabama safety.
