High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Austin Rivers (vs MEM – $4,900): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. Ricers continues to produce strong games for the Rockets. His salary has jumped, but not quite high enough. Minutes are not an issue for him and neither is shots. He chipped in with rebounds and assists in the last game, which shows he’s becoming comfortable in the Rockets system. That’s good new for his value as he’ll need to be good against a great defensive team like the Grizzlies. No Gordon only boosts his value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a good ceiling.

J.J. Barea (at OKC – $4,600): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Barea had 24.25 fantasy points against the Thunder on Sunday. This is typically his matchup and he carved them up with 10 assists on Sunday. Combine that with his fairly reliable scoring and he should be in for another strong outing on Monday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. Proven matchup as well.

Derrick White (vs BOS – $4,500): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. White has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. The minutes are there for him, although his salary has climbed. It’s not quite high enough given the production he’s been giving you. He and Forbes make for a nice backcourt duo who can pair and got a good return on both players. The matchup is tough, but Spurs guys just find ways to contribute. Diagnosis: Reliable.
