High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs MEM – $11,400): Needs 52.4 fantasy points. As always, you know what you’re getting with Harden. He’s going to get you at least value and with the way he’s playing right now, he’s going to get you at least 60 fantasy points. And his ceiling is much higher given his shooting and playmaking ability. The Grizzlies play outstanding defense, but no defense in the league is good enough against Harden due to the Rockets style of offense. He’ll be in for another big night. Diagnosis: You can always build around him with supreme confidence.

Steph Curry (at PHO – $9,600): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. Curry has been over 49 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And now he gets the Suns. The Suns are sneaky competitive, especially at home. So the hope is that this doesn’t turn into a blowout and Curry and Company can put up big numbers. Even in colder shooting nights, he’s an elite scorer and typically chips in with assists. Diagnosis: Only real concern is a blowout. Otherwise he’s reliable, but maybe a limited ceiling as many Warriors should get going in this game.

DeMar DeRozan (vs BOS – $8,200): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. I always love DeRozan in games that should be close. And this game should be close. The Celtics are a tough matchup and I can’t see either team coming away with a blowout. Because of that, DeRozan will be needed in a big way. Scoring is rarely an issue for him and he contributes in other areas. DeRozan should be in for another strong outing. Diagnosis: Trust him in games that are competitive.
