DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 31, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Klay Thompson (at PHO – $6,200): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. Klay is back. Maybe. Shots have never been an issue for him. It’s just a matter of those shots going in. He’ll have a great opportunity against the Suns because they are the Suns. They probably won’t need him much in this game, but he’ll get good minutes and is at a good enough salary to where, even in a more limited role, he should do enough to hit value. Diagnosis: Reliable.
Mikal Bridges (vs GS – $4,200): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. Bridges has been solid from the Suns during this recent stretch, going over value in seven of his last eight games. As with anyone on this low salary, minutes matter. And Bridges is getting plenty of minutes. He’s shown the ability to contribute in all categories and he seems like a guy who is going to raise his game in these tough matchups. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a good ceiling.
E’Twaun Moore (vs MIN – $4,200): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. Moore had 34.25 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 29. He’s been very cold since his good start to the season, but if he’s in the starting lineup, he’s at a good salary and should do enough to be nicely over value. The matchup is certainly a good one with Minnesota being on a back-to-back and just now being very good. Diagnosis: Good ceiling, but inconsistent.
