Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs DAL – $5,800): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. Schroder has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He went through a rough stretch, but the hope is that he’s back in form. Scoring is rarely an issue for him as he’s able to run the second unit and get his scoring numbers as a result. The matchup is the same and the Mavericks don’t really have an answer for him off their bench. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable, but Westbrook will probably be better, which means Schroder won’t have to be quite as good.

Austin Rivers (vs MEM – $3,800): Needs 16.1 fantasy points. With Eric Gordon out, Rivers will probably be the guy who gets the opportunities. He wasn’t lack for minutes prior to Gordon’s injuries, but now he’ll be the second option instead of the third. And with the Rockets offense, that’s a pretty big deal. He’s at a great salary as well. The matchup is tough, but the circumstances are great. Diagnosis: Could have a big game given the circumstances. In fact, I expect a big game.

Marco Belinelli (vs BOS – $3,700): Needs 15.6 fantasy points. Belinelli is a reliable option. He’s probably not going to have a big game, but if you want a low-cost option who is most likely going to get you value and can maybe do a bit more based on the shots he gets, Belinelli is a good option. And there’s always a chance he gets hot from beyond the arc. Diagnosis: Reliable.
