FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 31, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kevin Durant (at PHO – $10,500): Needs 44.3 fantasy points. Durant was down to 34.9 fantasy points against the Blazers on Dec. 29. It was the Splash Brothers game, but Durant is typically a reliable option on the Warriors. Scoring numbers are never an issue for him on the Warriors and his rebounding numbers should be back up in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable, but a blowout may limit his ceiling.
Paul George (vs DAL – $10,300): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. George had 45 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday. It was an off night, but he still found a way to get value. Once again, you just know what you’re getting from George. He’s a reliable option and he has a high ceiling based on his scoring. The scoring is there right now, but the assists were down against the Mavericks. Expect those to tick up. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.
TJ Warren (vs GS – $7,000): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. If Boooker is out, it’s going to be Warren’s show in Phoenix. It could be a big thing with the extra attention, but he’s at a good salary and has been strong throughout the month of December. He should do enough with his scoring to at least get you value. And if Booker doesn’t play, his assist numbers will tick up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
