Anthony Davis (vs MIN – $12,700): Needs 54.6 fantasy points. Davis was down to 47.7 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 29. Don’t be too concerned. It was a back-to-back and Davis just had tired legs. Now the Timberwolves are on a back-to-back and Davis has had some rest. And the Pelicans are at home. He’ll bounce back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling. Trust him to bounce back in a big way.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs BOS – $8,000): Needs 34.4 fantasy points. Aldridge was up to 53.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 29. He’s been all over the place this season, but he’s playing well right now and they’re going to need him in this game against the Celtics. He’s a risk because his shooting could fall off at any moment and this is a tough matchup. But he’s hot right now. Diagnosis: Red hot and a high ceiling, but slightly risky.

Jayson Tatum (at SA – $6,700): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. Tatum bounced back and had 37.1 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 29. He’s too good of a scorer to be held to under 10 minutes like he has been in his last two games. Expect him to bounce back with a strong scoring game. And even if he’s not scoring, he can do other things to at least get you value. Diagnosis: High ceiling and fairly reliable. He’s ready to explode.
