Players costing $6,667 or under

Marcus Morris (at SA – $6,000): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Morris has continued to play well during this recent stretch. And he’ll need to come up big against the Spurs because this is a tough matchup. Morris has been getting tough buckets, even if his rebounding and assists aren’t there right now. Trust him in this matchup because Morris lives for these tough games. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but a slight risk because he could go cold at any moment.

Jerami Grant (vs DAL – $5,800): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. Grant was down to 18.4 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday. I’m not too concerned as the Thunder are at home on Monday and Westbrook should be better, which means Grants will be better. Trust him to bounce back and come up with more points while chipping in with his usual defense. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back. Fairly reliable and a decent ceiling.

PJ Tucker (vs MEM – $4,700): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Aside from a slip against Boston, Tucker has been very good for the Rockets throughout this month. He had 23.4 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 15. As always, minutes are never an issue and he finds ways to chip in with his outside shooting and rebounding to go along with his defense. This is his kind of matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable.
