High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (at LAL – $11,700): Needs 54.5 fantasy points. Westbrook was up to 72.25 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Dec. 31. His shooting has been all over the place, but the other numbers are almost always there for him. With the Lakers missing two of their two leaders, it feels like Westbrook will be in for another big game. He’s been locked in this season, it’s just a matter of shots falling. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and always a high ceiling. Feels like a monster game for him.

D’Angelo Russell (vs NO – $7,000): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. You can go with Russell or Dinwiddie in this match. Russell has been better as of late, which is why I am leaning towards him. The Pelicans are bad against perimeter players and one of Dinwiddie or Russell will have a strong outing. Diagnosis: High ceiling and great matchup. But it could be Dinwiddie who gets hot and not Russell. That’s the only concern.

Justise Winslow (at CLE – $6,900): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. Winslow continues to be great in his role as the starting point forward. He’s doing enough to at least get you value and he’s going over that number on most nights. And now he gets the Cavaliers. This should be another strong outing from Winslow where he does a bit of everything and I would expect his point total to tick up from where it was last game. Diagnosis: Love him on Wednesday due to his role and matchup.
