High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Bradley Beal (vs ATL – $8,600): Needs 39.2 fantasy points. No John Wall means a lot of Bradley Beal. He had 42.5 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 29. And he always plays well against the Hawks, which isn’t too hard because they are the Hawks. He’s been over 50 fantasy points in both games against Atlanta this season. Diagnosis: Love everything about Beal on Wednesday. He should deliver big unless something goes horribly wrong.

Jrue Holiday (at BKN – $8,300): Needs 38.2 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting from Holiday at this point. He’s been very reliable and flashy a high ceiling. I like him better with Anthony Davis in the lineup, but he has more opportunities to contribute with Davis out. Either way, you’re getting at least 40 fantasy points from him right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable, good matchup, high ceiling.

Jimmy Butler (at PHO – $7,100): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. It’s a back-to-back for the Sixers, but it’s the Suns. I also like Devin Booker in this matchup, but his salary is much higher and I didn’t want to go completely chalk on high salary shooting guards. Even though Butler has been inconsistent and he wasn’t good against them in November, I have to think he won’t have two poor games against the Suns this season. Diagnosis: A risk because I don’t know what is up in Philly, but it’s the Suns and Butler will get it going.
