High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Evan Fournier (at CHI – $5,400): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. Fournier has been all over the place this season, but he’s shown a high ceiling and it’s the Bulls. He’s been over 32 fantasy points in three of his last four games against the Bulls. He’s not the most reliable option, but I’m going to trust the matchup. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a high ceiling and a great matchup. A gut feeling pick as he is a risk.

Terry Rozier (vs MIN – $5,300): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. If Kyrie Irving doesn’t end up playing, you can take Rozier with confidence. He stepped up in a big way when Irving was hurt last season and he’s been over 30 fantasy points in both games as a starter this season. If Irving ends up playing, this salary is too high given the production he’s had this season. But no Irving will mean big minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Irving is out.

Joe Harris (vs NO – $4,900): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Harris had 22 fantasy points in 21 minutes against the Bucks on Dec. 29. Only playing 21 minutes is a bit concerning as he usually gets more, so I have to trust that the minutes will be back up in this one. He’s been fairly reliable this season and the matchup is very good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling if his minutes tick back up.
