FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 2, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Paul George (at LAL – $10,000): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. George was finally under value against the Mavericks, coming in with 40.3 fantasy points on Dec. 31. Don’t be alarmed. He’s been too good this season to think it was anything more than an off night. And now he gets the Lakers, a team he should have a little something extra for given that he shunned them in the offseason. Expect him to bounce back with a strong outing. Diagnosis: Still very reliable with a very high ceiling.
Justise Winslow (at CLE – $7,100): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. Love everything about Winslow on Wednesday. Not only is he playing very well, but he gets the Cavaliers. This should be an easy game for Winslow to at least give you value, but I expect way more out of him considering the opponent and his role on Miami. Diagnosis: Expect a big game from him. Should post well-rounded numbers and a strong scoring game.
TJ Warren (vs PHI – $7,100): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. Warren had 37.8 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 31. He’s been very good for the Suns this season and now he gets the Sixers on a back-to-back. I continue to love his overall game and he remains at a good salary given his usual production. He can run cold as his value can be tied to his scoring, but he’s scoring at a good clip right now. Diagnosis: Hot and a good matchup.
