2019 NFL mock draft: Giants take Dwayne Haskins
By Brad Weiss
The Buffalo Bills made it to the playoffs last season, as they made it to the postseason for the first time since 1999 under first-year head coach Sean McDermott. Unfortunately, they could not make it two in a row, as they struggled on both sides of the ball, and ended the season towards the cellar in the AFC East.
During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Bills made the decision to move up in the first round and select Josh Allen, a strong-armed quarterback from Wyoming. While Allen had his standard highs and lows for a rookie quarterback this season, he showed he can make plays with his arm, and his feet, and should be the answer at that position moving forward.
With their first round pick in 2019, they should look to add talent along the offensive line, as Allen took a real beating in year one. Allen had to miss time due to being banged up throughout the year, and bringing in a guy like Greg Little with the No. 10 overall pick would make a lot of sense for this team moving forward.
If Allen is going to be the answer at quarterback, they have to keep him upright, and Little is a guy who can stay on the left side at the NFL level. The Bills have some good, young talent on both sides of the ball, and if Allen can keep himself out of harms way, they look to have a guy who can be their first franchise quarterback since Jim Kelly.
