18. player. 60. . Offensive Lineman. Kansas State. Dalton Risner

The Minnesota Vikings missed out on the playoffs this season, just one year removed from making it all the way to the NFC Championship Game. In the previous offseason, the Vikings went out and signed Kirk Cousins to replace Case Keenum as the starting quarterback, and while he put up good stats  in his first year in Minnesota, he could not lead them back to the Promised Land.

Heading into next season, Minnesota needs to get better on the offensive line, and they may want to use their draft pick in the first round on the position group. When it comes to this draft class, Dalton Risner from Kansas State is one of the more versatile offensive linemen of the group, and would be a nice fit in Minnesota.

Risner is a guy who can play all over the offensive line, and this past year, he was an All-American selection at offensive tackle. At the next level, Risner could stay at tackle, but also move to offensive guard, where he would have the potential to be an All-Pro player. Minnesota needs help up front, and Risner can certainly help in a number of ways.

Next season, the Vikings figure to be back in the playoff hunt, as they played much better football down the stretch. Cousins is a good quarterback, and Dalvin Cook is finally getting his legs back under him, so when you look at the NFC Playoff picture in 2019, the Vikings are going to be a team that is one to watch out for.
