The San Francisco 49ers finished the 2018 NFL season with a 4-12 record, which is nowhere near the expectation they had coming into the year. With new starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo signed to a long-term deal, the hope was he could rekindle the magic from last season, where he led the team  to five straight victories to close out the year.

Well, Jimmy G ended up tearing up his knee, and the 49ers finished close to the bottom of the NFC West. They will once again find themselves with an early draft pick in 2019, and they should use the pick on possibly the best player the draft class has to offer.

That player would be Quinnen Williams, who is one of those players who can step right in as a rookie and dominate. Williams is a big body, who has the agility to move around players, and could be the most athletic big man in the 2019 NFL draft class.

The 49ers have a former defensive star as their general manager in John Lynch, and he is going to want to fix a defense that had way too many holes in 2018. The defensive tackle is not a huge need, but sitting at No. 2 overall, it would be hard to pass up on a player as talented as Williams is when you are coming off a four-win season.
