High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at GS – $11,000): Needs 50.7 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. He was up to 82 fantasy points against the Grizzlies. Until they award fewer fantasy points for free throws, you can take Harden with all the confidence in the world. The Warriors are smart defensively and have good one-on-one defenders, but there’s really no stopping Harden right now. He is going to get all the numbers because that is what he’s built to do. Diagnosis: Build around him with confidence. He’ll get you value and then some.

Steph Curry (vs HOU – $9,500): Needs 43.8 fantasy points. No Chris Paul should help Steph out. Austin Rivers certainly won’t be the one to stop him. And aside from a rough game against the Lakers, he’s been the top guy for the Warriors during this recent stretch. He’s just as reliable to get value as Harden, although his ceiling is a bit more capped because he’s not gunning for an MVP trophy. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

De’Aaron Fox (vs DEN – $7,500): Needs 35 fantasy points. Fox was down to 21.5 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 1. He’s played too well this season to think it was anything more than an off night. Trust him to bounce back, especially against a team like the Nuggets, who also like to play with pace. His salary has dropped, which makes him easier to fit into your lineup. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back with strong effort, especially at home.
