High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (vs HOU – $9,200): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. Durant has been under 40 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s typically reliable as a member of the Warriors, but his lack of rebounds have hurt him recently. The scoring and assists are still there. He’ll get plenty of rebounding opportunities in this game, which should help. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kawhi Leonard (at SA – $8,800): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. And here we go. Kawhi returns to San Antonio. I’m always a fan of revenge games and this one has that feel, but it also feels different because Kawhi basically forced his way out and Kawhi is just a weird guy. That said, I expect him to deliver in this game. He’s been strong as a member of the Raptors and he’ll keep it up in this game. Diagnosis: Love the revenge factor and you can typically count on Kawhi to deliver.

DeMar DeRozan (vs TOR – $7,800): Needs 35.5 fantasy points. Now it’s a real revenge game. It’s not DeRozan’s return to Toronto, but he faces the Raptors, who basically stabbed him in the back in the offseason. DeRozan is going to be out for blood. Or he’s going to be so scorned that he can’t think straight. It really feels like that kind of game for DeRozan. Diagnosis: High ceiling but could also bottom out in a big way. I’m leaning towards him delivering.
