High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Steph Curry (vs HOU – $10,400): Needs 44.6 fantasy points. Curry has been over 50 fantasy points in his last three and four of his last five. He’s leading the Warriors right now and he doesn’t have to deal with Chris Paul in this game, which should help him out. His ceiling is always a bit limited due to the team he’s on, but he’s doing a bit of everything and can go off at any moment. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and a good ceiling.

De’Aaron Fox (vs DEN – $8,700): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. Fox was down to 22.4 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 1. I’m going to chalk it up to an off night and expect him to be better in this one. He’s played very well this season and has earned the benefit of the doubt. The matchup is good as this should be a high scoring affair with a lot of players having big games. Diagnosis: Typically reliable with a good ceiling.

Jamal Murray (at SAC – $8,000): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. The other point guard in this matchup hasn’t been as reliable as Fox, but his ceiling is just as high. Murray has been hot-and-cold all season and sometimes his value is too largely tied to his scoring. As mentioned, this should be a high scoring affair and Murray will do his part in contributing. Diagnosis: Reliable in this matchup and a high ceiling.
