High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick White (vs TOR – $6,100): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. White has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. His salary has jumped way up, which makes him a little less desirable than he was prior to his last game. But he typically does a bit of everything and is running hot right now. The matchup is tough, but the Spurs are at home. Diagnosis: Don’t love the higher salary and it’s quite possible this run ends in a bad way. A slight risk with a decent ceiling.

Fred VanVleet (at SA – $5,700): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. VanVleet just hasn’t been delivering as the starting point guard. The minutes and opportunities are still there for him, but his salary is just too high for what he’s been giving you. Maybe he breaks through in one of these games, but he’s most certainly a risk right now. Diagnosis: A risk due to recent play, but minutes and opportunities are still there for him.

Bryn Forbes (vs TOR – $4,400): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. If you don’t want to quite spend on White, you can go with Forbes. His ceiling isn’t quite as White’s, but he’s a reliable option and you can always pair the duo together. He typically gets more minutes than White, which certainly helps his cause. The matchup is tough as the Raptors defense is strong. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
