High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at GS – $13,000): Needs 54.8 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. You know what you’re getting from him at this point and no salary feels too high. He’s going to get all the numbers and his scoring numbers are going to be sky high, especially if he goes to the line on every other possession. It’s the Warriors, who are smart defenders, but there’s really no stopping Harden at the moment. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (vs TOR – $8,800): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. It’s not in Toronto, but it’s a revenge game for DeRozan. This game is going one of two ways for him. Either he’s going to be out for blood given the feelings he has towards Toronto. Or he’s going to turn in a clunker because he still has feelings for Toronto. I’m not sure there is a middle ground for him in this one. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but also feels like a high risk.

Buddy Hield (vs DEN – $7,000): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. Hield found his shooting stroke again against the Blazers, finishing with 40 fantasy points. He’s been fairly reliable throughout this season and with this game expected to feature a lot of points, there’s a reason to think Hield will shoot well and get his scoring numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
