High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bogdan Bogdanovic (vs DEN – $6,700): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. Alright, I’m cheating here. And one of the punt options will probably have some 30 fantasy point game because that’s how this stuff typically works. Shumpert has been playing well, Rivers gets big minutes, and Danny Green has a revenge game. But it’s a slow night and you can easily fit Bogdanovic into your lineup. I continue to love his game off the bench and the matchup is very good on Thursday. He puts up numbers in all categories and will get it done in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Malik Beasley (at SAC – $4,900): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Beasley has taken over the role of Monte Morris. He was up to 40.7 fantasy points against the Knicks on Jan. 1. Minutes are there for him right now and he gets it done in all categories. With the Nuggets getting healthy, it’s possible these role players start to take a step back. But until it fully shows itself, and while Beasley remains at a good salary, keep taking him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Andre Iguodala (vs HOU – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. This is Iguodala’s matchup. At least that’s what Warriors fans tell me. The minutes are typically there for Iguodala and aside from a poor effort against the Blazers, he’s been good during the last four games. I’m going to trust the matchup and for Iguodala to remind everyone that Warriors in 4. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but the matchup is good and his ceiling is high.
