High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Brook Lopez (vs ATL – $5,700): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. Lopez continues his consistent play. There are really no doubts about Lopez right now. He’s shooting extremely hot and he’ll continue to get these shots. Maybe he cools off at some point, but until I see it happen, I’m not going against him. Especially against a matchup like the Hawks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Alex Len (at MIL – $5,400): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Len moved back to the bench against the Wizards, but still produced 45.25 fantasy points. He’s been great during this recent stretch, delivering even in limited minutes. The matchup is tough on Friday, but I like him in these short bursts as he’s able to put up big scoring and rebounding numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable. Ceiling is a bit limited due to the matchup.

JaVale McGee (vs NY – $5,200): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. McGee was up to 33.5 fantasy points against the Thunder on Jan. 2. His minutes are quite what they were to start the season, but that hasn’t mattered for him. He’s doing plenty with his scoring and rebounding and chipping in with a handful of blocks. He remains at a great salary and he gets the Knicks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
