High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs ATL – $11,700): Needs 53.9 fantasy points. It’s Giannis. He was down to 42 fantasy points against the Pistons on Jan. 1 because it was a blowout. And that’s really the only concern in this one. But the Hawks can be scrappy and maybe they keep it competitive enough to make Giannis worth your while. You need a big game from him, but he’s typically good for a big game as long as he plays at least 30 minutes. Diagnosis: Only concern is a blowout. Otherwise, you can take with confidence.

Paul George (at POR – $9,700): Needs 44.7 fantasy points. After a rough game against the Mavericks, George bounced back with 53.5 fantasy points against the Lakers. He’s relying just on his scoring right now, which is a bit concerning, but I expect the assist and rebound numbers to pick back up. And he’s always good for defensive numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (at PHO – $7,000): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. Much like George, you pretty much know what you’re getting from Gallinari. He’s a reliable option with a good ceiling due to the minutes he gets and his consistency. Plus, it’s the Suns. The Clippers are struggling a bit, but the Suns are still the Suns. If anything it works in Gallinari’s favor as it should be a competitive game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
