High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs OKC – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. Aminu has continued his hot run, going over value in six straight games. He does a bit of everything and minutes are never an issue for him. His salary has jumped a bit, but it’s not quite high enough given the production that he is giving you. He should be able to do enough in this game to have a strong outing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick Jones Jr (vs WAS – $4,700): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Jones Jr has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He hit a few threes in his last game, but I wouldn’t expect that to continue. The rebounding is not an issue and he typically chips in with defense. The biggest thing is that he’s playing Washington. Diagnosis: Minutes are a bit of a concern, but as long as they are there, his ceiling is high.

Jae Crowder (at CLE – $4,700): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Crowder was up to 39.5 fantasy points against the Raptors on Jan. 1. I love his game overall, but he has been inconsistent this season. That said, he’s at a good salary and this is a revenge game of sorts. He wasn’t too pleased with his time in Cleveland and probably wants to show that it was the organization that was the issue. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
