High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (at MIL – $8,300): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. Collins has been a bit below value in two out of his last three games. It’s not really a production issue and he won’t kill your team, it’s more than his salary is a tad too high. The good news is that the Bucks are weak against power forwards and Collins still remains capable of big games. And again, he’s not going to kill your team unless something goes horribly wrong. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Tobias Harris (at PHO – $7,400): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. Harris’ play has dipped slightly recently, but much like Collins, he’s not going to hurt you because of his scoring and rebounding. And he seemed to turn things around a big against the Sixers. And he gets the Suns on Friday. So things are lining up nicely for him in this one. Scoring and rebounding will be there and I like him more than Harrell just because his minutes are more guaranteed. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis (at CHI – $7,000): Needs 30 fantasy points. If Myles Turner doesn’t play, Sabonis is in a very good position. At this salary, he’s a reliable option. I’d still love to see him get more minutes because he’s a talented player, but he puts up strong numbers even in limited minutes. Plus, it’s the Bulls. This should be an easy night at the office for Sabonis. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Turner doesn’t play. If Turner plays, he’s still a reliable option.
