High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (at SAC – $9,700): Needs 44.8 fantasy points. Curry continues to play a reliable game for the Warriors. The scoring is there in spades and he’s always good for assists and a couple of rebounds. I always love games against the Kings because of the pace they play at. And the Warriors play at a high pace as well. This should be an offensive affair with Curry doing plenty in all categories. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jrue Holiday (at CLE – $8,100): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. Holiday hasn’t been where you would like him given his salary. He was down to 33 fantasy points against the Nets on Jan. 2. But now he gets the Cavaliers, who are on a back-to-back. I’m going to trust Holiday to post a strong game because he is still the best perimeter player on the team. Elfrid Payton’s return does hurt his value a bit. Diagnosis: Reliable due to the matchup, which is very good.

De’Aaron Fox (vs. GS – $7,300): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. Fox had 31.5 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Nuggets. The minutes weren’t there, but he should be able to stay on the floor longer against the Warriors. He had 48.5 fantasy points against them on Dec. 14 and earned a lot of respect from the All-Stars. Trust Fox to bounce back in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
