High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (vs MEM – $5,500): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. Gay’s minutes are a bit inconsistent right now, but when the game is tough, he usually gets more opportunities. I do worry that this game turns into a blowout with the Grizzlies being on a back-to-back and the Spurs playing very well right now. Gay had 37 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Nov. 21 and it’s kind of a revenge factor for him. Diagnosis: Reliable due to the salary and a good ceiling.

Nemanja Bjelica (vs GS – $5,400): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Bjelica continues to deliver and until I see different, I will continue to roll with him. You’re probably sick of me talking about the pace of the Kings. But this is an important thing when it comes to DFS and there is a reason so many Kings players and opponents have strong games. Bjelica will get it done once again. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Gerald Green (at POR – $4,200): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. Green has been over 28 fantasy points in his last two games. Like any Rockets role player, shots are rarely an issue for him. Austin Rivers also had a strong game against the Warriors and his minutes are more guaranteed. Grabbing one of Rivers or Green to round out your roster is a good idea because both players are affordable and feeding off Harden right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
