Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at POR – $13,000): Needs 54.9 fantasy points. Harden was up to 80.5 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 3. He needs a big game every night and he’s producing a big game every night. I have no concerns about Harden right now. He’s delivering in all categories and now he gets the Blazers on a back-to-back. Unless he just goes cold, he’ll continue to put up monster numbers. Diagnosis: It’s Harden. Build around him with all the confidence.

Klay Thompson (at SAC – $7,600): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Klay is looking more like himself in recent contests and that’s bad news for opponents on most nights. Once again, I love this game because it’s going to be a high scoring affair and Thompson is going to get plenty of points while chipping in in other areas. Diagnosis: Hot right now and a great matchup.

Buddy Hield (vs GS – $7,100): Needs 30 fantasy points. Hield has found his shooting stroke in his last two games, which has been great for his value. His value is largely tied to his scoring right now, which is a bit of a concern, but scoring should not be an issue in this game. There is a lot to love at the shooting guard position on Saturday and Hield is a cost effective option for what he is giving you right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
